Kalpataru Celebration - 2026 Report

On the very first day of the new year, 2026, the devotees of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna gathered at the Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago to observe Kalpataru Day.
The program started at 2:45 pm and consisted of readings from The Great Master, prayer, meditation, and a brief ritual worship of Sri Ramakrishna.
Swami Ishatmanandaji discussed the significance of the day in the spiritual journey of the devotees. A little over 250 devotees offered flowers and enjoyed refreshments afterward.
The Society wishes all its members a very healthy and spiritually joyful HAPPY NEW YEAR.
